My grandmother had one of our cousins dress up as Santa to surprise me and my aunt (who is holding me). I’m not sure what happened to Santa on the way over…..looks like he was run over by one of his reindeer.”

Just a good old holiday pic with an innocent little 4-year-old, a creepy Santa and a scantily dressed Miss Piggy! Even more disturbing, why does the costume even have those body parts sewn on?!

This was 1969 or 1970. I think the masked Santa was my Great Uncle Louie. He liked his beer. I don’t have an explanation for why my parents thought this was okay.”

My son was trying to make a Shaka with Santa when the picture was taken.

We took my daughter to get her yearly photo with Santa and when Santa asked what she’d like for Christmas she said a ‘pink’ doll. He couldn’t hear her color choice and she then very politely stuck her middle finger up and shouted ‘pink, like this!’ She had on pink fingernail polish at the time.

Merry Christmas from your friendly, neighborhood mall goths. 2005.

Nothing says ‘Holidays’ like waiting in line for an hour and a half to see Santa, only for our son to have an accident the minute before his turn. Santa refused to let him sit on his lap. He gladly welcomed our daughter though, and let’s just say she didn’t enjoy it very much. Can you feel the…

My parents took my brother and I to a Christmas Party in a fancy hotel in downtown Pittsburgh. Instead of having a Santa Clause, they had a Christmas Chicken instead. We don’t seem too pleased.”

This is me with Santa in 1975. I can’t tell who is more unhappy, me or him.”

This picture was taken in about 1952. The boy sitting on the lap of ‘Santa’ is my husband’s cousin, Teddy. ‘Santa’ is ‘Uncle Bob’ who apparently didn’t notice that his mask was melting off. My husband thankfully doesn’t remember any of this. No word if little Teddy ever recovered from the trauma.”

I was either 2 or 3 and was visiting ‘Santa’ at my dad’s job.”

My nephew was apparently not a fan of Santa and it seems Santa feels the same way about my nephew.
